Overview

Dhaulagiri Expedition is an expedition on the 7^th highest mountain of the world, and in this expedition, you will climb Dhaulagiri Mountainfrom its NE ridge side. Before this, you will follow the trekking trail that runs by the Myagdi Khola (river). Walking for one week in this trail, you will reach Dhaulagiri Base Camp, which lies at an altitude of 4,600m /15088ft. Advance Base Camp (ABC) is set up at 5,150m/16,892ft, and above this, there are Camp 1 at 5,700m/18,696ft; Camp II at 6,630m/21,746ft; Camp III at 7,180m/23,550ft and Camp 4 at 7,600m/24,928ft respectively.

We place our base camp at an altitude of 4,600m /15088ft. and then place an Advance Base Camp (ABC) at 5,150m/16,892ft at the foot of the North East ridge. Above the ABC, we place Camp 1 at 5,700m/18,696ft; Camp II at 6,630m/21,746ft; Camp III at 7,180m/23,550ft and the final camp at 7,600m/24,928ft.

Throughout the expedition, our climbing guide will helpyou. On your return from the summit, you cross the French Pass and trek through the Hidden Valley by crossing the Dhampus Pass. Then you arrive at Marpha, where you join the popular trekking trail ofAnnapurna Circuit Trekking, which is connected to Jomsom and Birethanti. From Birethanti, you head off to Kathmandu by bus.
