Overview

Around Annapurna Trek has been done  23-days trip, starting with a 6 hours drive to Besisahar taking you around the Annapurna Massif is considered the most scenic walk in the world. It offers both the best of the hill and mountain culture and panorama of Nepal with along with crossing of an opportunity to cross a high mountain pass – Thorungla 5418m/17,770 ft.).

From Besisahar we trek in the Marsyangdi river valley with ample view of Manaslu, Peak 29 and Himalchuli. and arrive at Manang Valley after few days gradual ascnet The Manang region dominated by the snowcapped Annapurna II, III, IV, Pisang and Chulus has strong resemblace to Tibet in its culture and architecture and landscape. The views of prayer flags fluttering on every house top and monasteries and roadside main walls in each and every village give you to the first taste of being in the mountain. After Manang we shortly cross the famous Thorung la pass to enter the Kaligandaki Valley passing the holy shrine of Muktinath.. Soon after Muktinath, we follow the Kaligandaki downstream and pass throug the Thakali villages of Jomsom, Marpha, Tukche, Ghasa and then arrive at Ghorepani after leaving Kaligandaki at Tatopani. Another highlight of the trip will be the short hike to Poon Hill from Ghorepani for the breath taking views of the Dhaulagir, Tukche, Nilgiri and Annapura. Trek ends near Pokhara and then drive to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu drive to Hotel

Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu half day city tour

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (823m.) jeep to Chamje

Day 04: Trek from Chamje (1410m.) to Dharapani (1960m.)

Day 05: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2675m.)

Day 06: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3100m.)

Day 07: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3440m.)

Day 08: Rest day at Manang and hang around

Day 09: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4350m.)

Day 10: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4420m.)

Day 11: Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3850m.) via Thorong La (5416m.) Pass

Day 12: Trek to Jomsom 2013 m

Day 13: Fly  Pokhara from Jomsom

Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu

Day 15: Free day in Kathmandu

Day 16: Fly back to country
