Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is the third best trek of Nepal after Everest Base Camp Trek and Annapurna Base Camp Trek.Although itis short, yet it is beautiful. The reason is it offers you the view of all the famous mountains of the Annapurna Region, such as Gangapurna, Annapurna I, II, IlI, Annapurna South, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and others. Fromrhododendron trees, its trekking trail enters to the forest of cedar, juniper and birch, as well as to the blooming field of purple foxgloves, ruby poppies, and blue hydrangeas. The dense forest, which lies ahead is composed of fir trees and is a home to animals.

In Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, you not only enjoy the beauty ofthe Annapurna Ranges but also reach the viewpoint, which offers you a panoramic view of mountains; there, early in the morning, at the first dawn, you see the sunrise on the mountains and see how they change their colors from white snow-covered to golden as the sun ascends from a low horizon to a high altitude, making the view incredible.
