Manaslu Region is known by it’s Mountain Mt. Manaslu (8163m, 26781ft ), which is eight highest mountain in the world is situated in western central part of Nepal in the Manasiri Himal.The Manaslu region present a diversity of trekking alternative. In earlier this area was restricted, but the Nepalese Government has opened this area for all trekkers as trekking in 1991. Each and every trekkers who would wish to do trek in the region should have to go through by registered trekking company and should have to be two persons in a team.
The trekking route follows by ancient salt trading trail along the Budi Gandaki river. The highest point of the Manaslu trek is Larkya La, that mean Larkay pass which is 5106m 16752ft height from the sea level. This Manaslu region is popular for both trekking and mountaineering.
The two ethnicities, which mainly inhabiting in this Manalsu region are Nubri and Tsum. While Nubri has been often visited Nepal after it has been opened for the tourism. but Tsum still holds much of its traditional culture and tradition.
